It can lead to inactivation of transmitter release mechanism, thus giving rise to animal poisoning. It is found that the serum of Agkistrodon halys can neutralise the neurotoxic venom of itself. This is indicate that there is nerve antidotes factor the serum of Agkistrodon halys.
